30's

It's Rei's first time of getting hurt and bleeding. Her left mother toe got cut by the front door when mum opened/closed and the lower part of the door swiped at her toe. Rei didn't even cry or make any noise but was just really excited seeing Momo. Only when mum was bringing her back to high chair, she saw the toe bleeding. It shocked her and she felt so guilty. (very calm like as if there was nothing going on on her toe!) Well I was quite calm too. Expected that eventually Rei would have her first bleeding experience. Just need to know how to deal with it. I could only use hand sanitizer liquid to kill the bacteria on her toe because house no more iodine.  Well, today she only had one diarrhea-ish poop in the morning. She was also quite well behaved compared to yesterday. Not much screaming and was very patient at waiting on the high chair. Good mood. Rei was extra screamy today. Probably she was very tired as she skipped second nap. She had diarrhea in the morning and in the afternoon after lunch. So basically, she is still not feeling too well. But she is very active still. I wonder whether she does feel stomachache. When she screamed during dinner, I ignored her. But after some time, I told her in a serious voice that she shouldn't scream. And asked her whether she can wait for me to finish dinner and then I will bring her up to sleep. I think she got my message because after that she crawled to play at the theme park toy by herself.  I worked longer hours today as my dad was around to take care of Rei. However also felt guilty as it's his off day.  Yesterday after midnight, I woke up to brush teeth. Then when I want to sleep, I felt anxious about our financial situation again. This morning when I put Rei in her playpen, she played by herself for a while. Then when I entered the playpen, she started to be clingy to me again. So I spent some focused time playing and teaching her. After that she was a little better.  Yesterday I gave her some plastic fruits toys - apple, lemon, watermelon, grapes. And I showed her the fruits in the book. I could see she was absorbing whatever I said.  Today also she discovered she could cover the smaller cup with a bigger cup as well as fit the smaller cup in a bigger one. She also played hide and seek with me and then proceeded to go to the back of the couch and ended up stuck behind. I had a different kind of nightmare last night. I dreamt that my mum doesn't want Rei and I to stay long at kajang house already. I was quite surprised and sad. When I woke up, I had to rethink whether that event is real! I'm glad it's not.  This morning when I was leading Rei out of the AV room, she saw the eye drops still on the floor and just couldn't leave it lying like that. So she pulled me back and squatted to take those and put them back into the container.  Rei is again clingy to me today. During playtime, she just wanted to cling on me when I was sitting on the chair. So I had to sit on the floor with her because I was too tired of handling her on the chair. She kept squirming. When I was climbing up the stairs to work before she second nap, she cried. Cried longer than usual too.  Rimoru had sports day today and boy, he really has an interesting way of doing things. Time has been passing by fast ever since I started my castle project. The momentum is still going well. I'm happy. So I got this offer to partner with this new company for three months to do workshops, live events and q&as on their platform for USD 10K excluding commission. Initially I thought of not replying them. But after showing the email to Yang, he said to just try! It never really crossed my mind but I think he may be right. I will never know whether I can do something until I try it right? The reason I hesitated was I feel I have nothing to share for workshops as my work is so basic, I suck at live events and also I doubt anyone would pay to join! Well I have replied them telling them that my demographic recently has shifted from US to India so we shall see how this goes. Even if this doesn't work, I find that it kinda opens up my eyes to what else I can do with my channel. I just need to work harder. Rei is a little clingy to me today. More than usual. Haha. Today I let her have a new toy. It's a shape puzzle. Then she did this. (One of the puzzles became her pacifier. LOL) Before her second nap, she asked for more milk from mum. So my mum went out to make. Then halfway through, she heard Rei crying whining. When she came back to the room, she saw Rei was on top of her kid's table. Apparently she wanted to come down but couldn't. I realised the miniature castle has a lot of little items to make! It's quite enjoyable actually but it's going to take longer than usual. Hope to speed up as much as I can and post by next week.  Rei has always enjoyed eating vegetables especially the steamed ones. Like today, she smiled from ear to ear when being given spinach. Ate a bunch load of it too. 

After coming back from the short retreat at Shah Alam, I found myself gung-ho for work as well as improving myself in terms of body and mind. I like this feeling. This drive. My mum taught Rei the letter A last week. And today I think she could point out to the correct letter amongst all the other jumbled letters on the blanket. Mum also taught "B" yesterday and she could point out to B already! Fast! I started an accountability exercise group with Chew, Anna and Yang! So the idea is to update that we exercise on that day to help or keep each other on track! Using Snap Habit to keep track. Surprisingly there's not a lot of accountability app. This has the most people using which is only in the hundreds. The rest are in tens. Hopefully we can do it! I started this because I feel Yang needs help in his weight. I was shocked when the scale showed 99kg! And he is in the obese 2 category and his body age is 51! Mine is 25 years old. Today we went back Kajang! Rei could easily accept being back here again. She adapts easily. When she saw Kong Kong Ka and Pho Pho Ka, she was quite chill. Wanted my dad to carry her and then high fived mum. She has also missed her theme park toy and spent quite some time playing with it. (Split in car) (resume her spot beside Kong Kong Ka) (Pho pho Ka got her this table and chair. She practised sitting and standing from the chair. Got once she even stood up from the chair and walked once.) At night, she remembered that she could sleep beside me on my bed. And she did.  (she chose pink pyjamas over a green one today)

I took Rei for a walk at the car porch and also outside the house for a bit. She was so happy. I plucked some leaves for her and she held them tightly the whole time.  (particularly loves to see Hugo. She likes to see dogs!) (sky!) Today we finally inflated the swimming pool that was bought using Hsinnie's angpow. It is 3 metres in length! Quite huge. The quality is also pretty good. Rei was so happy being in it. Yesterday night I had a nightmare. I dreamt that Yang went out to celebrate his ex-date, Stephanie's birthday at a theme park together with Denny and one couple. I was so mad and sad because he hid it from me and only told me after he went. I felt so so betrayed. And so I told him I want a divorce. And I took Rei with me, put her in the car seat and drove out at night with no real direction. I guess I just wanted to make a statement. To show the severity of this. Today Rei called me more than usual. She kept saying Mami and Mamiak. xD. I feel honoured!  She slept 12 hours straight and then took another 3 hours nap in one session! Probably too tired from yesterday outing. We had sashimi today. However, this time it's not as nice. The fish had not much taste. Anyway Rei was so messy today eating the oily fish. Today was an eventful day. It was our FIRST EVER FAMILY TRIP! We went to Genting Highlands after one and half year of MCO (Movement Control Order). There is just no word to describe when we finally crossed the state border which had been closed for one year? It felt like we have finished a war and things are recovering. But of course the virus is still living amongst us and too bad there's still no vaccine for Rei. So we purposely chose a weekday and hope there will be less people compared to weekends. Woke up at 8:30am but only departed from house at 11am. Life with a baby-toddler! Haha. We drove Papa's car because he said that it would be more comfortable for Rei. But I was also half thinking that it might be safer to drive a lower car as its a mountain we are going to be driving at. Rei is so funny! She knows how to enjoy music. She will press the music box to play song and continue in her play. When the music stops, she will pause her play and press the music box xD (Pausing Lego play to press on her music box) Yesterday night, for whatever reason, Rei had a hard time sleeping. Napped too long? Teething? I put her to bed around 11pm and I think she only slept at 1am. I accidentally slept around 12 maybe and then I woke up at 12:30am to find her still awake, whining. Lol. She was playing with her pacifier. So finally I told her do you want your pacifier or you want mummy to keep for you? Then she immediately stop playing.. After that I told her to lie down on pillow and sleep. And she did. Still struggled a bit but I think she slept soon. I slept first again XD XD Today we went back to Shah Alam house to visit grandparents and her daddy. We will be staying here a few days. Rei woke up and started bringing me books to read to her. So with half consciousness, I read.  Later that morning, she opened to a page that shows kitten, pointed and said cat! First time in front of me.  Again later that evening, I opened anime and there was sky. She pointed it and said ska (sky) along with car which is her common word.  Before I put her up on my lap to watch the anime, she was begging me to bring her up. To get favour from me, she said "mummy". Yesterday I felt a bit lost in my work. It is scary to think that I am really alone in this business. If I don't initiate, there's absolutely nothing that I'm doing. I have to initiate.

Rei loves yogurt ever since she first tasted it. The original sour kind with no additional topping. Her version of ice cream. She would get excited every time she sees her yogurt glass. Today Rei walked two steps by herself! She was just standing in front of me then my dad asked me to ask her walk to me. And I did. Then she didn't want to repeat haha.  During dinner, I accidentally fed Rei salmon meat with one of the bones! Luckily she managed to separate the bone and took it out from mouth. My mum saw when Rei was looking at it with her fingers thinking of wanting to eat the bone. I was quite chill though when this happened. I acknowledge the severity of it but then also know that I just need to be more careful next time and not distracted. I was preparing Rei's banana oat cookies to be baked. Yesterday night, I was playing with Rei by closing the book facing her face which gave out gust of wind when I closed. Did a few times and she took it okay. But after the third time, she started to want to cry and then like very sad..dropped a tear or two. Haha didn't expect that reaction. She got scared by the loud sound probably eventhough she knows where it came from. Such naughty mama haha! This morning she woke up at 7:30am. Waited for me and then I made milk for her so that she could sleep back again. I think she woke up due to the heat. After milk, she slept again till 11am! I on the other hand couldn't sleep again. Lol. Then afternoon, she took a nap at 1:30pm and is still sleeping now at 4:30pm! I wonder whether it's her growth spurt or its just a special day.  (Kong Kong Ka teman her to sleep as she needs people around when sleeping) I really love to see her sleeping face. This morning mum and I fought again. She said so many hurtful lies. I was angry so I defended back. After that we had silent war till late afternoon. Now okay already but still I'm wary at talking to her.  I posted the video sponsored by Know Me today. Now I can move on to make my Squid Game miniature. But I'm still at a loss on how to make the stairs. Shall figure out soon. Rei had a great time eating papaya for dinner. Dinner was pretty messy but luckily I placed the cloth bib under her silicon bib. So it was easy to clean.  Everytime Rei tries to sleep, she would shake her head from side to side very fast. Rei doesn't like Weet-Bix due to the grainy texture even after soaking with milk. So today she is a bit fussy during breakfast, also because she is feeling a bit heaty I feel. The weather has been really hot these few days and yesterday she had hebikui so probably she is feeling the effect from it. But she was nice enough to try to distract herself from the food by picking on her hand. I managed to let her eat about 10 spoons or more from there. This morning my mum say when she took over from me when I go upstairs to brush teeth as usual after putting Rei down on high chair and preparing her milk, she waved bye at me without even looking at me. Hilarious XD she knows the routine. Today I told my mum that we might be going to Bukit Tinggi for a staycation. Because we are just so sick of our houses and needed a getaway badly.
